GETTING STARTED

This document is presented in Adobe PDF format and is viewed using Adobe Acrobat Reader. If you do not presently have Adobe Reader 4.05 or better installed on your computer you can find the software and the installation process on the Adobe WEB page at http://www.adobe.com. This site contains very good documentation on the Acrobat Reader as well as other products and downloadables.

STEP 1: RUNNING THE DOCUMENT

* Navigate to the CD drive of your computer.
* Open the folder named final/.
* Double click on the document.pdf file. Adobe Reader will automatically launch and load the document.pdf  file.

NOTE:
If for some reason Reader does not start you should be able to launch Reader from the Desktop icon or from the Adobe or Adobe Reader listing on the program menu. Then simply choose File - Open and browse to the CD drive, the final/ folder and select the document.pdf file. However you start the document, the TITLE page should open to get you started.

This CD-ROM contains the documentation for an Ecological Characterization of the Greater Yellowstone Area (GYA) and data used in the GIS analysis. The data directories and their contents are as follows:
